Homeschooling

Last week I got some books from the library about Philadelphia and the Revolutionary War as a way to prep Sam for our spring break trip out there.  (The trip is, of course, supposed to prep us all for moving there this summer.)

Johanna got the great idea to read the books herself, gather important information, and prepare lessons for Sam.

Awesome!  This is when I love homeschooling - when I don't have to do anything the kids take ownership and show creativity.

Here's how one student responded.

Sam did better.

Once he decided he would sit and listen to his sister/teacher.

That may or may not have had something to do with threats of duct tape and brussels sprouts.
