Monday Amusement
A friend recently pointed me toward a WikiHow article titled "How to Speak like Shakespeare." It was a fun little bit and followed by a YouTube video of some impromptu Shakespeare players in Chicago trying out their Shakespeare speak on ordinary citizens.
Amusing.
What I found even more amusing, though, were the article titles selected below the Shakespeare thing.
And these weren't suggested titles for reading, but for writing! So, I could write a WikiHow article on:
- How to Do Google Mosaic Art in Your Classroom
- How to Get Student Loan Forgiveness
- How to Build a School in a Third World Country
- How to Decide Whether to Attend the Merchant Marine Academy
- How to Calculate Elliptical Volume
Merchant Marine Academy? Really? I didn't even know there was such a place!
Elliptical Volume? Huh? Sounds like it's related to math, so, again, huh?
Even the "artsy" one is beyond me.
So, I got a little chuckle out of their oh-so-helpful suggestions.
Unfortunately, I think I'll have to keep looking if I want to write a WikiHow article.
